Annual State of the School Forum February 8, 2017

Champion Schools will hold its annual State of the Schools Forum on Wed. February 8 in the High School gymnasium from 7:00 - 8:30 P.M.  Presentations will include:  update on the Pk-8 New School Building by BSHM Architects and Hammond Construction as well as student showcases from each building.  The Forum is open all residents.  Parents are encouraged to bring their children.

Seeking Parents for Parent/School “Administrators’ Coffees”

Building Principals and the Superintendent are seeking interested parents for the District’s Annual Coffee Program between Parents/Administrators.  Every year, each principal solicits several parents to host a “coffee” in their home.  The host parent is then asked to invite 6-10 other parents to the hour long “coffee” discussion.  During the “coffee” parents can ask administrators questions on all matter with the school and provide suggestions/recommendations for school improvement.    “Coffees” are a great way to promote dialogue among the parents and administrators and resolve issues.    If you would be interested in hosting a coffee (coffees are held in January and February starting at 6:00 or 6:30 p.m.) just call the building principal.  Central: Mrs. Nannicola 330-847-2328; CMS: Mrs. Campbell 330-847-2348; CHS:  Mr. Grabowski: 330-847-2305.
