Congratulations to CHS Senior Sami Plott - she has been chosen to be a member of the Class of 2024 Twenty Under 20!

For the last 12 years the Tribune Chronicle, Akron Children's Mahoning Valley, and AVI Foodsystems have been honoring 20 high-achieving individuals younger than 20 for their leadership skills through volunteerism, extracurricular activities, and academic achievements. The committee received more than 50 applications this year and we are so proud of Sami for being among the top 20!

Sami and her fellow Twenty Under 20 classmates will be recognized during a special dinner ceremony in December. During the dinner the top five winners will be selected to split $1,000 to be donated to the local charity of their choice and one overall winner will be picked from among the five.
