Bus Drivers Needed
Champion Local Schools are looking for individuals that are dependable, motivated and enjoy working with children to join our team of Bus Drivers. We offer in-house training to help you get your CDL, excellent working conditions, and part-time hours that still allow you to spend time with your children. High School/Middle School bus routes begin at 6:45 a.m.
Elementary School bus routes begin at 7:45 a.m.
We make every effort to ensure that your child is safe while riding the bus and ask parents/guardians to please take a few minutes to review the Student Transportation Rules (below) with your child.
We offer bussing to all resident district students each day the district is in session. We maintain a fleet of busses that travel an average of 60,000+ miles a year, and our drivers transport over 900 students each day.
New Students - There is a Student Bus Form in your child's enrollment packet that needs to be turned in so they can be added to a bus route. The form is also available on the link below.
Current Students - If you need to update or add your child to a bus route, please submit a Student Bus Form to any building office. The form is available on the link below or can be picked up at any building office.
STUDENT BUS FORM (PDF)
* Please submit one form per child.
* Changes become effective 48 hours after the Student Bus Form is received in the Transportation Office.
* There are no bus changes for only a day or a week.
* Changes needing to be made for the first day of school should be submitted to the office two (2) weeks prior so we can set routes in a timely manner.
* There are no bus changes the first two (2) days of school.
* Student Bus Forms roll over each year and will remain on file until a parent/guardian updates their child's busing with a new form.
Please note, we allow one bus change per year.
