The Champion Local School District is pleased to share that it has received a 4.5 star rating from the Ohio Department of Education on its annual report card!

Emilynn McAllister achieved something truly remarkable on the Spring 2026 Ohio State Tests, earning a perfect score on all three 5th-grade exams: Science, Math, and English Language Arts. To the school's knowledge, she is the only student in middle school history to sweep every tested subject in the same year! Earning a flawless "triple crown" takes extraordinary focus and dedication, and we couldn't be prouder to recognize Emilynn for setting such an inspiring example for her peers.

The 2026–2027 school year is off to an exciting start...
